Mesh and plate belts are used in for example drying tunnels, (fluid bed) drying systems & washing installations. Metal mesh and plate bands are made from (woven) wire and metal (perforated) plate or combinations thereof. These belts can be used for a large number of (pre) filtration and drying applications, but also for continuous transport in difficult or extreme conditions. Advantages of these belts are for example, high strength, high heat and moisture stability and a very long service life.

Applications
Mesh and plate belts are used in for example drying tunnels, (fluid bed) drying systems & washing installations. These belts can be used for a large number of (pre) filtration and drying applications, but also for continuous transport in difficult or extreme conditions. The most common types are described below.
Woven cable belts are among other used for the production of paper. This woven belt can be made with curved, straight and flat weft threads. The warp wire is always one or more multifilament cables.
Spiralized metal belts or metal spiral belts are used for transporting many types of products for washing, drying, etc.
Woven metal belts are used for among other drying processes.
