History

Spirofil was founded in 1992 in Zevenaar by two passionate technicians who saw opportunities in the market to improve the performance of a belt filter press. After being headquartered in Haarlem, Spirofil moved to its current location in Alkmaar in 2017. Improvements to the performance of a belt filter press depend on many factors. It is a continuous process with high efficiency. Each dewatering procedure requires specific machine settings, including any additives, which requires a significant amount of knowledge and experience.

The hardware undergoes heavy stress and can often be optimized. The expertise accumulated over the past 30 years has led to the specialization for which Spirofil is known today!
