Mesh and plate belts are used in drying tunnels, (fluid bed) drying systems, and washing installations. These belts are made from (woven) wire and metal (perforated) plates or combinations thereof. Mesh and plate belts are used for various filtration and drying applications, as well as for continuous transport in demanding or extreme conditions.

The advantages of these belts include their high strength, excellent stability under heat and moisture, and exceptionally long lifespan.

Applications

Applications

Mesh and plate belts are used in drying tunnels, (fluid bed) drying systems, and washing installations. These belts are suitable for a wide range of (pre)filtration and drying applications, as well as for continuous transport in difficult or extreme conditions. Below are the most common types described:

Cable fabric belts, for example, are used in paper production. This woven belt can be made with curved, straight, and flat weft wires. The warp wire is always one or more multifilament cables.

Spiralized metal belts, also known as metal spiral belts, are used for the transport of various products, such as for washing, drying, and so on.

Woven metal belts are used in drying processes, among other applications.
